Ben founded Oxcap in 2024. Prior to this he was the head of Industrials Research at Morgan Stanley for >20yrs. Ben is widely regarded as one of the greatest analysts of his generation. His close relationships include Chairmen, CEOs and CIOs while he maintains a regular (>20hrs per week) dialogue with fund managers and traders.
Ben currently maintains active coverage of >$730bn mkt cap of global industrials in the US and Europe. In the last 12 months he has executed on two corporate advisory mandates for world class companies.
With a career spanning >40yrs – Ben has worked on some of the biggest corporate actions* in global industrials including Siemens’ spins of Siemens Energy and Healthineers, the IPOs of Legrand, Knorr Bremse, Fincantieri, KION Group, Rexel and many more.
Managing Director & Head of Thematic Research
Andreas joined Oxcap in 2025 and leads their Thematic Research offering. Prior to joining, Andreas enjoyed a healthy rivalry with Ben, as the head of Industrials Research at JP Morgan for >20yrs. Also widely regarded as one of the greatest (if not the greatest) analysts of his generation. Andreas has a reputation for meticulous analysis and attention to detail, with a preternatural ability to synthesise clear insight from complexity.
Andreas is retained by some blue chip companies as a strategic consultant and a partner at nIndustries – an Industrial Buy-Out firm. Like Ben*, Andreas has worked on some of the biggest deals of the century, including the IPOs of Prysmian, Senvion, Signify, Landis & Gyr, Heidelberger Druck, Andritz, Autostore Marel and Edwards Vacuum (Atlas Copco).*
Managing Director & Head of Automotive & Future Mobility
Stuart joined Oxcap in 2025. Previously he was the Head of Global Automotive and Thematic Research at Exane (BNP Paribas), which he joined in 2013 from Morgan Stanley.
Stuart is widely regarded as the best Autos analyst in Europe, with consistent #1 rankings in the II / Extel surveys for 7 years (top 3 for 15!).
A world leading authority on future mobility and decarbonisation, Stuart has delivered thought leadership for 25 years. He is passionate in aligning major industry themes with investment opportunities.
During his illustrious career, Stuart has worked on all of the biggest corporate actions in European Autos, including the IPOs of Porsche AG, Ferrari, Volvo Cars and Traton.
Executive Director & Head of Aerospace, Defence & Machinery
Rory is a founding member of Oxcap. He joined from UBS where he covered European Machinery and UK Engineers; prior to that he has a member of the top-ranked Industrials franchise at Investec, covering Aerospace & Defence and Capital Goods as well Business Services and Clean Energy names.
Rory has strong relationships with Management teams, particularly in the UK, many of which due to being the corporate broker’s analyst, including Melrose, Halma, Chemring, and Renishaw among others.
At Oxcap, Rory launched on the Mining Equipment and Machinery names earlier this year and recently on Civil Aerospace in the US and Europe, with Defence to follow.
Specialist Sales & COO
Harry is a founding member of Oxcap and also serves as the company’s COO. Prior to joining, he was the Specialist Sales for Industrials at UBS (Cap Goods, A&D, Autos) and before that, for Materials at Morgan Stanley (M&M, Construction & Chemicals). In a short amount time, he has been a Top 3 ranked Spec Sales in Autos and Construction in the Extel/II surveys.
Harry has placed anchor shareholders in successful IPOs in the Mining and Defence sectors. He maintains a broad list of strong client relationships in Europe and the US.
Prior to his career in Finance, Harry was an officer in the British Army, serving twice in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2013 and finished top of his class in tactics upon promotion to Captain in 2012.
Vice President – Research Cap Goods & Aerospace & Defence
Sanskar has been involved in equity research of the highest standard for 9 years with experience across capital goods, aviation, logistics, and shipping. Skilled in financial modelling, valuation, and building detailed industry and company-specific trackers using Bloomberg, Reuters, and other data sources.
He began his career with a Mumbai-based boutique research firm supporting a UK buy-side asset manager. Subsequently joined Morgan Stanley’s European Capital Goods team, working alongside Ben Uglow on a coverage universe of about 50 stocks, where responsibilities included developing detailed financial models and maintaining models, macro and company-level trackers. Later joined HSBC in Bangalore, supporting the European Aviation and Logistics analyst. Experienced in financial modelling, preparing earnings summaries, and in managing comprehensive comp sheets and industry databases.
A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and CFA Level II cleared professional with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Commerce College, Jaipur.
Business Development & Corporate Access
Richard serves as Head of Business Development at Oxcap, where he oversees the firm’s corporate access, connection hub, and investor relations initiatives. He began his career at Morgan Stanley after earning a BSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Leeds. While at Leeds, he completed a year-long internship at Morgan Stanley, working directly with the European COO of the Equities division. Upon graduating, Richard joined the distinctive Whitephone team at Morgan Stanley before moving into Global Equity Sales.
After five years at Morgan Stanley, Richard joined The Analyst Alpha Generation, a highly regarded long/short independent research firm known for its rigorous, on-the-ground research and outspoken stance on corporate fraud in Europe, most notably its work on Wirecard.
Before joining Oxcap, Richard left The Analyst to pursue a full-time career in music with his band, Dead Air. He continues to tour and record with the group alongside his responsibilities at Oxcap.
Research Associate
Tom is a founding member of Oxcap and has been responsible for building out much of the data and model infrastructure. Prior to joining Oxcap, Tom studied at Durham University, graduating with a degree in Biosciences (BSc). Tom has passed CFA Level 1, finishing in the top 10%.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen angler who competes in fly-fishing tournaments and an avid follower of upcoming indie rock bands.
Research Associate
Jingwen is an Associate covering Global Automotives under Stuart Pearson. Prior to joining Oxcap, she studied Economics at Clare College, University of Cambridge. Jingwen has a strong interest in macroeconomics and achieved first class in her undergraduate dissertation on the impact of IMF policies on currency-crisis likelihood. Originally from the flat plains of Hebei Province in China, she later moved to tropical Singapore, where she spent her adolescent years and picked up fluent Singlish along the way. Outside of work, Jingwen enjoys Chinese literature and music, and is casually working toward her dream of becoming a keyboardist someday.
Research Associate
Yijun graduated from UCL (MSc, International Public Policy) and the University of Warwick (BSc, Economics) and worked in Kepler Cheuvreux’s Capital Goods team before joining Oxcap. He is the engine room behind Oxcap’s immensely popular monthly product “The Data Base” and works with Ben on Cap Goods and Rory on Aerospace & Defence. Growing up in Shanghai and later attending high school in Auckland, New Zealand, Yijun brings an international background to their work. Beyond work, Yijun is a part-time landscape photographer and a boulderer.
